Now that spring had officially begun, The Netherlands is very colourful!
During spring, you can visit a variety of events, where you can walk through these rainbows made out of flowers. If you are a fan of colour and brightness, and most importantly, a fan of spring and flowers, The Tulip Festival in Amsterdam is the event for you!
All through the capital, tulips in all kinds of forms and colours can be admired. Some artists even make flower pieces out of them, which are displayed at certain locations. In total there are about 1 million tulips planted all over Amsterdam, which are used for the festival.
The Tulip Festival starts at the 1st April and lasts until 30th April.
