13 Sep Netherlands: Eurovision in Rotterdam 2020
Following the success of the song ‘Arcade’, Netherlands is headlined to host next year’s Eurovision Song Contest in its second-largest city, Rotterdam.
A major logistic and economic centre, Rotterdam is also Europe’s largest port.
The Eurovision week will have three shows: Semi-final 1 on Tuesday, Semi-final 2 on Thursday and the Grand Final on Saturday:
- Semi-final 1: 12 May
- Semi-final 2: 14 May
- Grand Final: 16 May
The show will be held in the Rotterdam Ahoy arena which consists of three halls with the largest being with a capacity of 15,000.
Two smaller halls in the complex have a capacity of 6,000 and 4,000, Perfect for delegations and press centre.

Eurovision Song Contst 2020 will be held in Rotterdam in May 2020, following Duncan Laurence’s victory in Tel Aviv with the song ‘Arcade’.
