20 Feb Budapest Crowned Best European Destination 2019
The hunt for Europe’s Best Destination takes place every year. Last year, Budapest landed in the world’s top 10. This year, and more than half million votes later, the city on the Danube was crowned winner.
The Pearl of the Danube boasts countless breathtaking monuments, architectural landmarks, unique thermal baths and beautiful caves. Budapest also has a vibrant cultural life, amazing nightlife, flourishing gastronomy, all available at affordable prices.
In Buda you can take a stroll around Castle Hill area providing unforgettable views of the entire city, whilst Pest side of the capital is full of excellent shops, restaurants and cafés. You can also take twilight cruises along the Danube and enjoy the magnificent view classified as an UNESCO World Heritage Site.
