ITS TIME TO TRAVEL TO ASIA AGAIN!

Updated regulations travel to Cambodia – Thailand – Vietnam from February, 2022

With a two-shot vaccination rate of nearly 80% population, Vietnam is ready to open its borders completely with visa exemption and e-visa application, quarantine free from 1st April 1, 2022. On 15th Feb 2022, Vietnam lifted restrictions on international flights with all markets, no limitation on the number of flights. The frequency of flights will be restored to pre-pandemic level.

Travelling to Vietnam is now very easy with almost the same policies as before the pandemic. Below is our newest update regarding to procedure entering Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam that’s approved in Feb 2022.

 

CAMBODIA

Cambodia actually reopen border from 15th November 2021, plussing Vietnam resumed all international flights, that make travelling between two countries being real and ease. The official announce reopen border of Cambodian authorities can be found at: https://www.mfaic.gov.kh/covid-19

In short, document requirement to enter Cambodia as below:

·        Valid Passport (at least 6 months)

·        Cambodia visa

·        A negative certificate for Covid-19 by RT-PCR is issued within 72 hours before entry.

·        Certificate of full vaccination (2 shots)

Cambodia reopened e-visa, you can easily apply and get visa within 3days at:https://www.evisa.gov.kh/

THAILAND

Specific regulations and requirements for documents:

·        Valid Passport (at least 6 months)

·        Thailand visa (if needed)

·        Vaccination certificate/Certificate of cure (Children from 12-17 years old traveling alone must get at least 1 dose, children from 6 to 17 years old traveling with parents do not need vaccination certificate)

·        Negative test result for Covid-19 by RT-PCR is issued within 72 hours before departure (Children under 6 years old traveling with parents with negative PCR test results within 72 hours are optional must be tested before departure and tested upon entry to Thailand)

·        Reservation and payment confirmation for AQ/SHA+ service (including PCR testing on day 1 and day 5, airport and hotel transfers)

·        Health insurance with minimum coverage of $50,000.

·        Register Thailand pass on https://tp.consular.go.th/ to generate QR code.

 

VIETNAM

With many newly opened routes, both domestic and international routes, traveling within Vietnam and neighboring countries is extremely easy and has never been so reasonable, addition of very easy reopen policies, you can landing the charming city with just following documents

Specific regulations and requirements for documents:

·        Passport valid for more than 6 months from the time of entry into Vietnam

·        Present proof of full vaccination against COVID-19, with the last dose at least 14 days and not more than 1 year prior to date of entry.  Or present a certificate of recovery from COVID-19. The time between hospital discharge and entry date must not exceed 6 months.

·        Present a negative result from an RT-PCR/RT-LAMP-method test administered within 72 hours before boarding (from the time of test).

·        Have medical or travel insurance that covers COVID-19 treatment, with minimum liability at $50,000.  This is typically about USD 40, contact us if you need assistance.

·        Health declaration online at: https://tokhaiyte.vn

·        Declare your health status via PC-Covid software (download iOS or Google Play)

·        If landing in Hanoi (HAN), register to get a personal “QR” code at: http://tokhaiyte.medlatec.vn/medt2

·        If landing in HCM City (SGN), register to get a personal “QR” code at: https://antoan-covid.tphcm.gov.vn

Vietnamese Govt is planning to exempt visa unilaterally for 13 countries and bilaterally for 88 countries/territories, as before the epidemic. Also, restore processing Vietnam visa on arrival and electronic visa.

Vietnam’s E-visa is valid for up to 30 days, single entry. Apply online here.

·         24 countries are exempted from the visa requirement due to diplomatic agreements.

·         80 countries can use the E-visa.

E-Visa processing is currently 3 days from receipt of documents and payment.
