19 Aug Hungary: Go Green in Budapest!
Sustainable tourism focuses on interacting authentically with local culture, and it is becoming more important among travellers.
In Hungary, three creatives who are both passionate about both travel and the environment have come together to create a map that pinpoints conscious and sustainable places where both locals and visitors can eat, unwind and shop in the capital.
The result is a long-awaited map focusing on sustainable Budapest that has been recently issued much to like-minded people’s delight. It includes points of interest such as parks, green zones, markets, eco-conscious gift shops, places with planet-friendly food and many more.
For incentive groups sustainable activities such hiking or sightseeing by bicycle, a nature-friendly way of public transport are also available in the capital.
Over 300 hiking trails and routes can be found in and around Budapest for those who wish to get close to nature. While cycling lovers can hop on their bikes and with a help of a bicycle route map for both experienced and beginner bikers they can discover famous sights of the city such as Parliament, Heroes’ Square and City Park.
Be enviromentally conscious, go green!
