20 Aug Netherlands Ahoj: Experience the world’s biggest nautical event
Every five years, well over a million visitors flock to Amsterdam to witness an impressive and incomparable fleet of tall ships sailing gracefully through the Dutch capital.
In mid-August next year, you too can experience the unique display of hundreds of ships, including the typical Frisian ship ‘Skûtsjesilen’.
SAIL, as the event is called, boasts a combination of entertainment, art, culture, music, sporting and children’s activities. It will be held in 12-16 August 2020.
