Spain is launching a new salon, Pure Spain. This show is for travel professionals and will take place in Paris. Indeed, the first edition of “Pure Spain” will be held on October 19, 2023 in Paris. It will target both Leisure and MICE professionals.
As a result, Spain intends to occupy the ground in 2023 with two major projects that will animate its tourism strategy. The year will indeed be marked by the celebrations around the 50th anniversary of Pablo Picasso’s death, but also by a new event dedicated to tourism professionals. The new salon, Pure Spain will be more than a show, it will be an experience targeting both leisure tourism and MICE professionals. The workshop will combine 20-minute B2B appointments, networking sessions but also workshops and animations to highlight different facets of the destination. The day will end with an evening bringing together Spanish & French tourism professionals.
About a hundred exhibitors are expected to be present at the new salon, Pure Spain, 350 buyers are expected from Paris but also from all over France. A Hosted Buyers program will allow professionals located in the different French cities and regions to go to the show with a part where all their transport, transfer and accommodation costs are covered by the organizers.
With the new salon, Pure Spain, the destination intends in particular to develop intermediate sales. Even if tourism is already a particularly strategic sector for Spain, the second largest global destination and or 42% of trips that go through the pros are business trips.
